JonWebster Scheid passed away peacefully on July 3, 2022, with her loving husband, William "Guy" Scheid holding her hand.
JonWebster was born on September 21, 1946 to John E. MacDonough and Gertrude Scully MacDonough. She was the middle child, with Brian being her older brother and Peter being the younger. She graduated from Prince George High School in 1965. She attended Mary Washington College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1969. She met the love of her life, "Guy," in 1971. They were married two years later.
In 1976 she returned to Virginia Commonwealth University where she obtained her Master's Degree. She was highly respected working for the Dinwiddie Child Protective Services, and when she retired in 2010, she was given an award for over 34 years of dedicated service. JonWebster is survived by her husband, Guy; her son, Bradley Jon, wife Michelle; and grandson, Liam; and her son, Todd Webster, as well as countless family members and lifelong friends. Family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
