Jordan Jr. Wyatt

Jordan Perkins Wyatt Jr. (J.P.) 89, of Petersburg, died Sunday June 6, 2004. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Bowen Wyatt, a sister Catherine Wyatt Harris and a brother Robertson P. Wyatt. J.P. was a U.S. Postal Manager, past President of the U.S. Postal Virginia Branch of National Association of Postal Supervisors, twenty years as the manager of Walnut Hill Post Office. He was a board member of the Virginia Credit Union League and Past Commander of Post 2 American Legion. He was a lifetime member of Washington Street United Methodist Church serving a number of years as Sunday School Superintendent. He is survived by a sister Alice May Wyatt and her husband William Davis and their two children William Davis and Beth Martin; a daughter, Evelyn Wyatt Unruh, and her daughters, Evelyn Mende Mason, Suzanne Mason Campbell, her husband Eugene L. Campbell, Jr. and their son Eugene L. Campbell III, also Nannette Mason Kreitzman and her husband Alan Kreitzman, their daughter Hailey Anne and their son Kyle Aaron. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son, with Rev. Betsy Basehore officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Southside Virginia Emergency Crew, P.O.
