Joseph Leo Clavin

Joseph Leo Clavin, 85, of Chester, VA, a devoted husband and father, passed away on January 24, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Chun Suk Clavin; son, Jason Clavin; daughter, Joann Clavin; son, Joseph Clavin, Jr.; daughter, Eileen Clavin; and granddaughter, Crystal Clavin.
Joseph was born and raised in Pawtucket, RI. He completed an associate degree in college and was the proud restaurant owner of Silver Star Café in Hopewell, VA, as well as an advent member of the Moose Lodge. He was a veteran who bravely served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war and held a membership with The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the U.S. (VFW).
Joseph was a Nascar racing enthusiast as well as a steadfast Dallas Cowboys fan.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
