Joseph "Joe" Tyler

Joseph â??Joeâ? Harold Tyler Jr., went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2011. He is son of the late Ida Melton and Joseph Tyler Sr. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Peggy Griffin and Margaret Newsome; and brother Buzz Melton all of North Carolina. Joe is survived by his wife, Faye; daughter, Brenda Haddon and husband Anthony; son, Chris Tyler; two grandchildren, Corey James and Sarah Ellen Faulkner all of Chester; sisters, Ann Wilson, Rita Raynor, Dawn Hurdle, and Eleanor Gibbs all of North Carolina; two wonderful sisters-in-law, Kaye Williams and Tennie Fournier; brothers-in-law, Mason Harris, Buddy Dobson, Jack Fournier, Sammy Williams; good friends, Pete Bryant, Billy Wilson and many more. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment afterwards in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
