Joseph Winston Taylor

Joseph Winston Taylor, 78, of Moseley, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was the owner and president of Joseph W. Taylor Inc. for thirty-two years. Mr. Taylor was ranked third on the East Coast for residential home building. He was an active member of the Southside Church of the Nazarene since 1998. Mr. Taylor enjoyed traveling both locally and internationally with his wife. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Daisy Nell Barfield Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Norma Taylor; daughters, Elizabeth Poe and her husband, Jim, Debbie Taylor, Mary Kathryn Parker, Karen Richmond and her husband, Larry, and Nancy Williams and her husband Robbie; grandchildren, Kristen, Sara, Chris, Samantha, Larry Jr., Stacy, Mike, Nick, Matt, Lindsey, and Alexandra; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Hugh Taylor; sister, JoAnn Heppinstall Giffard; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the funeral home, with the interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park in Chesterfield.
