Joseph Wayne Thomas

Joseph “Wayne” Thomas, 33, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away at his residence Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was the son of David M. and Kathy W. Thomas of Dinwiddie, VA, brother to David “Allen” Thomas of McAllen, TX and Toni Nicole Thomas of Dinwiddie, VA. He was the grandson of the late W.T. and Rae H. Thomas formerly of Dinwiddie, VA, Earl Brooks of Dinwiddie, VA, and Randall and Evelene Wegman of Gladys, VA. He was the nephew of Mary Ruth Thomas, Lee Ann Thomas, Cheri Smith, Ronda Williams, Tammie and Brian Griffin, and Morris Thomas. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he was loved and will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest in Peace, we love you and will cherish your memory for the rest of our lives.

We didn’t get to say goodbye! A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in the memory of his beloved Grandmother, Rae H.
