Joseph Francis Wharton

Joseph Francis Wharton, 66, of Prince George, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013. Born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late Ernest F. and Bertha Harding Wharton. Joseph was a proud veteran having served in the United States Army. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Joseph is survived by his wife, Virginia Blaha Wharton; sons, Chris Wharton and Mark Phillingane; daughters, Kecia Wharton and Donna Sarver; grandchildren, Joshua and Rachel; sister, Sally Wharton; brothers, Michael and Earl Wharton. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Church of the Sacred Heart. Casual dress attire is requested. Interment will be private.
