Josephine Donald Ogden

Josephine Donald Ogden, 90, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Annie Vernon Mahon and Robert Kerr Donald. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Edward Ogden. She was an active member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and previously Tabb Street Presbyterian Church. After attending Madison College (James Madison University), she taught school at Woodlawn Elementary School in Prince George County. She was a member of Petersburg Federated Woman’s Club and Southside Regional Medical Center Guild-Magnolia Twig. Mrs. Ogden was an accomplished artist in egg decorating. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Monday, May 6, 2013 in Blandford Cemetery.
