Josephine Moss Stidham

Josephine Moss Stidham, 83, of Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Born in Goochland, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James Russell and Viola Hawk Moss. She was also preceded in death by husband, Coy A. Stidham; and two sons, Junior and Larry Frank. Josephine retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company after 30 years of service. She enjoyed gardening in her spare time and loved to travel. She is survived by her children, James Moss (Pat), Terry Frank (Yvonne), Merry Williams (Edward), Sherry Pallas (Dave), Joy Frank (J.R.), Pearl Orick (Cecil), and Kimberly Stidham; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Ruby Wells. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
