Joshua Garland Edwards, 19, of Powhatan, VA., passed away, Friday, March 16, 2018. He is preceded in death by his mother, Melissa A. Edwards. Joshua is survived by his father, Garland W. Edwards and wife, Shannon; sisters, Trinity M. Perrine and husband, Terry, Andrea M. Melton, Angela K. Payne and husband, Ryan, and Mikayla M. Edwards; brothers, Grant T. Edwards and wife, Patricia and Phoenix B. Edwards; paternal grandparents, Thomas E. and Margaret R. Edwards; maternal grandmother, Colleen D. Moody; step-brothers, Austin Gilstrap, Tripp Samuel and Braiden Samuel; nieces, Karis Perrine and Kinsley Perrine; nephews, Kaden Perrine and Lucas Edwards. The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Chester, where a service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 23, 2018. Interment will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Park.
