Joyce Louise Beveridge

Joyce Louise Beveridge, 83, of Chester, VA joined God and her angels on September 13, 2014. Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ann Knapp; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Beveridge; and one son, Glenn Beveridge. Mrs. Beveridge is survived by three children, Scott Beveridge and wife, Py of Thailand, Jody Dillis and Gail Brown, both of Chester; four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Steven, Jennifer and Ryan; one great-granddaughter, Jane; a brother, Roger Knapp; one brother-in-law, Frank Beveridge; and many cousins and relatives. Joyce was a longtime member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chester, VA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A memorial service will be held at 3:00p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 12201 Richmond St., Chester, VA 23831, with Father Dale Custer, officiating.
