Joyce Eley

Joyce Lundie Eley, age 75, of West Point, VA., died on Sunday, November 11, 2007. She was born in Ettrick, VA, the daughter of Walter and Fannie Taylor Lundie. Mrs. Eley was a former member of Liberty Baptist Church in Hopewell, VA. She retired from Blue Cross Blue Shield in Petersburg after 26 years of service. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. L. Eley, Sr. She is survived by her sons Craig Eley and wife Janet, of Providence Forge, VA, Robert E.L. Eley, Jr., and wife Sue, of Prince George, VA; four grandchildren, Robert E. L. Eley III, Scott Eley, Carly Eley, and Taylor Eley; and one great grandchild Robert E. L. Eley IV. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, November 15, 2007 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will follow on Friday, November 16, at 11 a.m., with interment in Sunset Memorial Park.
