Joyce Marie Holley

Joyce Marie Holley, 77, of Petersburg, VA, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilton “Booty” Frank; her mother, Sadie Traylor Gibbs; her first husband, Ernest E. “Sonny” Grubbs; her second husband, Paul Holley; and her brother, W.E. Frank. Joyce was a woman of strong faith who always looked for the best in people. She can best be described as a gentle, kind, generous, and loving person. She is survived by a sister, Dorothy A. Frank; half-sister, JoAnn DuBois; special sister-in-law, Carolyn Frank, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved pets. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 at Western Heights Baptist Church. A private interment will be held at Blandford Cemetery on a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA of Petersburg and Colonial Heights, 201 Temple Avenue #E, Colonial Heights, VA 23834. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
