Joyce Ann Stringer Koppe

Joyce Ann Stringer Koppe, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2024, with her husband, children, and grandchildren by her side.
Joyce grew up in Great Falls, Virginia, and went to Langley High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Lillian Stringer; and her sister, Evelyn Stringer Jenkins.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Mike, of 39 years; her son, Eric Rotenberry, of Manassas, Virginia; her daughter, Bethany Angel Johnson, of Chester, Virginia; her step-daughter, Amanda Koppe Slatton, of Georgia; and her brother, Gene; and sister-in-law, Dee, of Sterling, Virginia; and brother-in-law, Roland Jenkins, of Purcellville, VA. She has two nephews, Jason and Andy Stringer, of Sterling; and three nieces, Michele, Karen, and Cheryl, of Richmond, Lovettsville, and Purcellville, Virginia. She has nine grandchildren.
Joyce worked as a Consumer Support Bankruptcy Advisor for SunTrust Bank for 22 years. Joyce loved spending time with friends and family, and swimming at the pool in the summertime. She loved fresh garden tomatoes, Mexican food, and working puzzles.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, at 1:00 p.m., with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m.
