Joyce Garrett Pritchett

Joyce G. Pritchett, 85, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. Joyce was a graduate from Hopewell High School and worked for many years as a secretary with Allied Signal/Honeywell. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed golfing, gambling when away from home, flowers, visiting with her friends, and spending time at her lake house. She was also a very devoted Episcopal parishioner both in Petersburg and South Hill. She spent many years in the chorus as well as a choral society. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James "Pete" Pritchett; daughters, Donna P. Lundie (Charles) and Andrea P. Etheridge (Thomas); and grandchildren, Joshua W. Lundie (Sierra), Grace E. Lundie, Brittany A. Testerink (Jason), and Bryce O. Sykora; and two great-granddaughters. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
