Joyce Westmoreland West

Joyce Westmoreland West, 87, of Petersburg, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Agnes Westmoreland. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Albert Leigh West; aunt, Ann Russell; cousins, Pat Kile, Barbara Britton, Jeanette Balch, Annette Russell, Mark Russell, and Paul Russell. Joyce retired after 35 years of service to the American Red Cross. She was a board member of the Community Concert Series, a member of the Junior Federated Women’s Club, and a proud member of the Republican Women’s Club. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 31st, at the Petersburg chapel of the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
