Joyce Rebecca Williams

Joyce Rebecca Williams, 68, of Disputanta, VA passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Born in Albany, GA she was the daughter of the late William and Helen Ogletree Hatfield; and was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ogletree. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth Lee Williams; her daughter, Melissa Williams; grandson, Jaden Williams; a brother, Rudy Frazier; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milner’s Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Betty Jackson, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Disputanta or Prince George Volunteer Emergency Crew or to the American Cancer Society in memory of Joyce Williams.
