Jr., Alfred Freese

George Alfred Freese, Jr., 74, of Hopewell, VA died Monday, May 11, 2009 at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a retired accountant from Firestone Corporation. Mr. Freese was preceded in death by his parents, George Alfred Freese, Sr and Esther M. Mills Freese, three sisters, Betty Seivard, Ruth Runkle, Virginia Dreisbach and a brother, John H. Freese. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Kulp Freese of Hopewell, VA, two daughters, Heidi Beth Villanueva and her husband Stephen of Midlothian, VA, Jill Allison Roberts and her husband Kevin of Winston Salem, NC, and five grandsons, Daniel, Seth, Chase, Andrew, and Blake. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Rickman, pastor officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
