Raymond Bennett â??Bennyâ? Taylor, Jr., 52, of Hopewell, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. He was born in Wurzburg, Germany. Mr. Taylor was an avid motorcyclist and fisherman. He was also the part-owner and operator of B&D Barbecue in Petersburg. Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his wife, Donna H. Taylor; and his father, Raymond Bennett Taylor, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Clara M. Taylor of Hopewell; brothers, Mark and wife Colleen Taylor of Powhatan, Steven and wife Kimberly Taylor, and Wayne and wife Becky Taylor of Hopewell; nephews, Joshua, Daniel, Chase, and Robert Taylor; niece, Jordan Taylor; aunts, Thelma M. Deal of Henrico, and Florence T. Aders of Manakin-Sabot; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home; a memorial service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home following the visitation, with the Rev. Mike Osborne officiating.
