Waylon ?Eagle? Cornett Daughtry Jr. 77, of Petersburg, died Tuesday May 24, 2005 at CLC Westhampton; Richmond, Va. Eagle was born in Dinwiddie County on September 18, 1927, the son of the late Waylon Cornett Daughtry & Helen Louise Eley Daughtry Mann Anderson. He is survived by his sister Helen Louise Mann Smith and husband Ronald G. Smith, nieces & spouses Tracy and Chris Wilmoth; April & john Thomas, Maurie & David Gwaltney, Marlana Moore and numerous great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 12:00 PM Thursday May 26, 2005 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson officiating.
