Jr., C. Edwards

Edmun Carl Edwards, Jr., age 67, of Church Road, VA, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008. He was born in Prince George, VA, the son of the late Edmun C. Sr., and Hazel Livesay Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, where he served as a Military Policeman. He spent most of his working career with VDOT and as a mechanic specializing in small engine repair. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Linda Kay Edwards. He is survived by two sons, Edmun C. Edwards, III and Thomas B. Edwards; two grand daughters, Kaylyn Edwards and Sara Rideout; two sisters, Paige Williams and husband Glenn, and Gloria Elmore; and two brothers, Robert E. Edwards and wife Brenda, and Dennis W. Edwards and wife Linda. A graveside funeral service will be held in honor of Mr. Edwards on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
