William Clarke Thirft, Jr., 55, a lifelong resident of Dinwiddie County, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2006. He was the son of the late William Clarke Thrift, Sr. and Carolyn Martin Munford. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Louise Thrift of Glen Allen; brother, Eugene C. Munford; and paternal grandmother, Annie Laurie Thrift. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 4, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery.
