Samuel B. Coggin, Jr., 58, of Dinwiddie County, died Friday, October 29, 2004. A native of Jacksonville, FL, the son of the late Samuel B. and Sadie Reva Hibbitts Coggin. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving as a proud member of the 101ST Airborne Division. He is survived by his wife, Shelia L. Coggin; four children, Lisa R. Hughes, Kathy Coggin, William Coggin and Samuel Coggin, III; twelve grandchildren and numerous sisters and brothers. Funeral services will be conducted 1 PM Monday in the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 AM to time of service. Interment will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia, VA.
