Jr. Deforest Sweetser

Douglass DeForest Sweetser, Jr., age 76, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007. He was born in Boston, MA the son of the late Douglass D. Sr. and Mildred Downs Sweetser and was a previous resident of Paignton, Devon, U.K. He is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Long and husband Tom of Laurel, MD and Robin Deel and husband Hal of FL; five grandchildren, David and Jennifer Long and Sandy, Kelly and Sean Deel; his sister, Diane S. Springfield and husband Claude of Chesterfield; and best friend, Lucy, his Shihtzu. A private cremation will be held and his cremains will be privately interred at a later date.
