Robert Eugene Martin, Jr., 35, passed away unexpectedly in his home in Chester, VA on Sunday, March 14th. He was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School, class of 1992, and was employed at IBEW Local 666. He was preceded in death by his father the late Robert Eugene Martin, Sr. He is survived by his son, Neven Martin; mother, Mrs. Debra Rhodes; step-father, Robert Rhodes; sister, Nicole Millis and husband, Cory of Chester; brothers, Shannon P. Martin and wife, Heather of Prince George, VA and Matthew Martin of Georgia; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. John Martin of Hopewell, Mrs. Joanne Morea of Colonial Heights, VA and the late Sam Morea; aunts; uncles; nieces; and nephews. Graveside services and interment of Mr. Martinâ??s cremains will be held on Friday, March 19, at 11 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions are made to the Neven Martin Scholarship fund, payable to: Fort Lee Credit Union, in care of Debra J. Rhodes at 13300 Lora Lynn Rd.
