Phillip Franklin Crumpler, Jr., 73, of Prince George, passed away Friday, March 27, 2009. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Phillip Franklin and Edith Trimyer Crumpler. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Sheek and a brother, John Trimyer. He is survived by his wife, Alice W. Crumpler; daughters, Tamra C. Ferrell and husband, Bobby of Prince George and Kimbra C. Allen of Chester; step-children, Sharon I. Russell of Petersburg and James A. Ivey of Colonial Heights; grandchildren, Erin Ferrell, Ryan Allen, Niki Stancil and Kori Chandler; seven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Crumpler Belangia; numerous nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Laura and Dennis LeBlanc and â??Georgeâ?; and his special companion, Boo.
