Joseph Henry Burrow, Jr., 100 years old, of Disputanta, VA died Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Burrow was born in Disputanta, VA and had been a lifetime resident of the Prince George County and Richmond, VA area. He was the former owner of Burrow Auto Parts. Mr. Burrow was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Henry Burrow, Sr. and Ladye Warren Burrow; his wife, Clarice Morris Burrow; two sisters, Jennie B. Hedgepeth, Susie Hohman, four brothers, Aubrey H. Burrow, E. W. Burrow, Waverly Burrow and Willie Earl Burrow. He is survived by three sisters, Katherine B. Tompkins of Prince George, VA, Helen B. Adams of Richmond, VA., Ruth B. Figg and her husband Kenneth of Prince George, VA., a brother, John Wesley Burrow and his wife, Almyra of Salem, Va., numerous nieces, nephews, and many special friends. A funeral service will be held Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service with the Rev. Bev Nelan, pastor of Newville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
