William Henry Jones, Jr., 71, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Monday, April 18, 2005. Born in Chesterfield County, he was the son of the late William Henry & Ellen Wells Jones. He served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard, and was employed with Insulation Specialties Incorporated. Mr. Jones is survived by his sons, Jerry Wayne Jones of Colonial Heights, William Jeffrey Jones of Wilsons, and Jesse Edward Jones of Chester; grandchildren, Amy Carol Jones, Angie Elizabeth Jones, Amanda Beth Jones, Kevin Dominic Mattia, and Crystal Gail Mattia; great-grandchildren, Serena Pittman and Kayce Maree Scott; brothers, Charles Eugene Jones and Allen Gordon Jones; and sisters, Helen Matthews and Jeanette Aldridge. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Wednesday, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
