James H. Cairnes, Jr., 41, of Ford, Virginia passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 27, 2007. James was born in Dinwiddie County known to all his friends and family as â??Snowballâ?. He was the son of James H. Cairnes, Sr. and the late Shirley Brandt. He was a foreman employed By Lewis Tree Service and always enjoyed working outdoors. He is survived by his stepmother :Roxanne Cairnes, four sisters: Amy Gibson & her husband, Lyle, Angela Metzler & her husband Ty, all of North Carolina, Rebecca Cairnes and special friend Billy Daniels of Dinwiddie, Jessica Cairnes of Dewitt, three brothers: Joshua Howlett of North Carolina, Charles Cairnes and special friend Cheryl Davis, Christopher Cairnes all of Dewitt, several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a close friend who was more like a brother to him Joe Roberts, fiancé Tammy Peters and sons Dustin and Charles, Jr., future mother & father-in-law Shirley & Joe Fuller of Dinwiddie County and his loving pets, Big Head, Little bit and Suzie. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home Friday November 2, 2007 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held in Southlawn Memorial Park Saturday November 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow the service.
