Floyd Henson, Jr. CWO3 (Ret), 73, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia. Born in Marshall, Illinois he was the son of the late Floyd G. and Josephine Crafton Henson, the husband of the late Nai Sook Henson and the brother of the late James, Ray and Bud Henson. Mr. Henson was a retired Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the Untied States Army who served his country in Korea and Vietnam where he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and other military commendations. Mr. Henson lived in Petersburg for over thirty years and worked for the U. S. Postal service. He is survived by a daughter, Debra Adams (John), grandchildren; Crystal Allen (Daniel) and Amber Daniell (Kyle), siblings; Jo Ellen Spencer (A.G.), Bill Henson (Pam), Linda Cunningham (J.P.), Phyllis Henson and Monty Henson (Racel), several nieces and nephews and his loving pet, Rascal. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 10:00 am at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
