Jr. J. Lanier

LeRoy Jackson â??Butchâ? Lanier, Jr. passed away on Saturday November 20, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late LeRoy Jackson Lanier, Sr. & Judith Rose Tench Lanier. Butch was employed as a Pharmacist in the Tri Cities area for 37 years, graduated from Medical College of Virginia School of Pharmacy, was an avid hunter and loved to fish. Butch is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Diane Stables Lanier, son, Geoff Lanier, daughter, Katy Lanier Gorter & husband Wes, all of Chester, and a brother, Mark Lanier & wife Lori of Mathews, Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Tuesday 2:00 PM at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens in Prince George County.
