Charles John Luch, Jr., 70, of Wakefield, passed away Monday, October, 27, 2008 at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk. Born on July 5, 1938 in Crabapple OH, he was the son of the late Charles John Luch, Sr. and Lela Hinkle Luch.
He was retired from Beltline Railroad after 32 years of service. He had a passion for painting watercolors and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and it was a great joy for him to spend time with his family. He was considered a great friend to many.
He is survived by his daughter, Selena L. Wynne, and her husband Allen; his son, Charles â??Nickâ? Luch; two sisters, Cheri Luch Stearns, Geri Berbari; three grandchildren, Charles and Steven Wynne and Maegan Luch; a great grandchild, Aubrey Wynne. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris B. Luch; a sister, Peggy Blacker and brother Buddy Blacker.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the residence of his daughter at 29453 Millfield Rd.,Wakefield, 23888. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 PM. The family is being served by J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Purviance Chapel.
