Jr. N. Francis

Walter N. Francis, Jr. 61, of Disputanta, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2010. He was the son of Walter N. Francis, Sr. and the late Eunice Turner Francis. He was a devoted member of Western Heights Baptist Church as he loved his Lord and church family. He loved riding his Harley, although, Walter was a family man who always put his family before himself He is survived by his wife, Christine A. Francis of Disputanta; daughter, Sherry E. Dutton and husband, Paul of Colonial Heights; two sons, Timothy E. Francis, Sr. of Dinwiddie and James D. â??JDâ? Steele and wife, Alicia of New Orleans; daughter, Rebecca â??Beccaâ? Francis of Disputanta; four grandchildren, Timothy E. Francis, Jr., Jasmine N. Francis, Chloe and Melanie Steele; two sisters, Peggy Taylor and husband, Bobby of Disputanta and Thelma Cooper and husband, Lonnie of Hopewell; brother, Keith Francis of Norfolk. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Western Heights Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the church.
