Jr. Perkinson

Benjamin C. Perkinson Jr., 64, of Sutherland died Monday January 24, 2005 at Southside Regional Hospital. He was the son of the late Benjamin Perkinson Sr., & Marion Perkinson. Mr. Perkinson was retired from the Philip Morris Company after 33 years of devoted service. He was a 1968 graduate of The University of Richmond, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since 1970. He is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Geraldine Perkinson, two sons, Michael Perkinson and wife Joanne of Prince George County, Rodney Perkinson and wife Cathy of Dinwiddie, one daughter, Beth Nicholson and husband Buddy of Dinwiddie, six grandchildren, Joshua & Sarah Perkinson of Prince George Co., Ashley & Hunter Perkinson, Morgan & Abigail Nicholson all of Dinwiddie Co.,
and one great grandchild Gabriel McCray of Prince George Co. The family will receive friends Wednesday January 26, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday January 27, 2005, at 1:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie Co. with Rev. Kathleen Julian and Dr. Maurice Hancock officiating; interment will be in the church cemetery.
