Willis Jackson Smith, Jr., 73, of Richmond, died Tuesday, November 9, 2004. He was an employee of Yellow Freight . He served in the United States Marine Corps. He is survived by his wife, Betty Smith ; daughter, Brenda Smith; son, Jim Smith; step-son Forrest Melton and wife Jean; and brother Edward Smith and wife Doris. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 13, 2004 at 11:00 am in the J.T. Morriss & Son Chesterfield Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, November 12th from 2::00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Casual dress appropriate.
