Jr., Thomas Riggins

William Thomas (Tom) Riggins, Jr., 62, of Petersburg, VA., passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Martha Louise Sheffield Riggins. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a great father and grandfather (Pop). Mr. Riggins is survived by his wife of 45 years, Rose Marie Riggins; daughter, Wanda Gibbs and husband Billy; son, Dwayne Riggins and fiancée, Jody; daughter, Cathy Tucker and husband Bubba; grandchildren, Little Billy Gibbs, B. J. Tucker, Whitney Gibbs, Priscilla Gibbs, Justin Storey, Gabriele Gibbs, Austin Tucker, Hunter Tucker, Angel Riggins; Herbie Spain, a great-granddaughter, Hayleigh Gracelynn; sister, Shirley Nealy and husband Milton; lifelong devoted friend, â??Moneyâ? Coleman; devoted brother-in-law, Earl Hawkins, devoted cousin, â??Nukieâ? Critcher; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at the Petersburg chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery.
