Levy Vernon Rowe, Jr. 81, of Chester, Virginia passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012. He retired as a maintenance foreman from Allied Signal and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy C. Rowe; Sons, Larry W. Rowe and wife, Sherry H. Rowe, from Chesterfield, Virginia, and Barry L. Rowe and wife, Edith F. Rowe from Blackstone, Virginia; Daughter, Pamela R. Jones and husband, Scott A. Jones from Henrico, Virginia; Grandchildren, Derek A Rowe, Cody W. Jones, Crystal F. R. Holt, Allison R. Slaughter, Amy R. Piedra, Daniel L. Jones, Emily A.. Rowe, Patrick W. Rowe, Blake A. Jones; Great Grandchild, Katelynn Rowe. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Chester Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chester Chapel, interment to immediately follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
