Jr., W. Kidd

Leonard W. â??Caseyâ? Kidd, Jr. 87, of Petersburg, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010. He was a native of Petersburg and son of the late Leonard W. Kidd, Sr. and Bessie McGee Kidd. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later retired from civil service at Fort Lee. He is survived by his wife, Frances B. Kidd; godson, Robert A. Small; surviving cousins who include; Barbara Toombs, Frances Watson, Levy McGee, and James McGee; numerous nieces and nephews, and his devoted feline friend, Pretty Kitty. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 2 to 4 pm. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Southlawn Memorial Park.
