Jr., William Blythe

James William Blythe, Jr., 82, of Hopewell died Monday, August 17, 2009 at John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Hutchison, KY and was a retired CWO in the US
Army serving in WWII, Viet Nam and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Blythe was the son of the late James W. and Opal Prather Blythe. He is survived by his wife, Marianne E. Blythe of Hopewell, a son, David L. Blythe of Richmond, two grandchildren Jason and Duncan Blythe of Richmond, a brother Wesley W. Blythe of Cedar Grove, NC and a sister Marietta Noffsinger of Englewood,Ohio.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 7-8 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service, with military honors, will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 10 a.m. in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George County.
