Judy Jones Bosserman

Judy Jones Bosserman, 67, of Dinwiddie, passed away on October 7, 2017, at her residence. Born June 28, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Francis Epes Jones and Elizabeth Lambert Jones. She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie and retired from the Dinwiddie County Sheriff’s Department following 27 years of dedicated service. Judy is survived by her loving daughters, Stephanie Bishop (Chris Waugaman) and Jenny Belling; sister, Lynda Jones Hawkins (Earl); brother, William Jones (Ellen); nephew, Charles Hawkins; nieces, Judi Ann Hawkins, Ashley Jones O’Dell (John), Kimberly Jones, and Lauren Jones Davis (Alton). The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the friends and medical professionals who gave support and who served as caregivers. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home 103 S. Adams St., Petersburg, VA. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son.
