Judy Lipscomb

Judy Ann Valoras Lipscomb, 63, of Hopewell died on Monday, June 1, 2009 at John Randolph Medical Center. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Judy had a passion for Art. She enjoyed giving her grandchildren paintings that she painted. Judy also enjoyed sewing, in which she had a talent for sewing dresses. Judy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Francis F. Lipscomb, Sr.; her children, Wendy Cox, James A. Lipscomb, and Jerry A. Lipscomb; stepchildren, Brenda Lipscomb, Francis F. Lipscomb, Jr., and Bonnie Lauer; grandchildren, Terri Cox, LeAnne Cox, Kenneth Cox and Amanda Gaytan and James Ashley and her great grandchildren, Heather Hancock, Kharisma Pippen and Amaya Gaytan. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Virginia Veteranâ??s Cemetery in Amelia with Father Steve Antes officiating. The Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
