Judy Thayer

Judy Keller Thayer, of Hopewell, passed peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on October 19, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Blair and Eula Preston Keller, a daughter, Stacy Wayne Thayer, a granddaughter Keller Okhui Thayer and her sister, Hope Keller Warren. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, David Kyle Thayer, her daughter, Tracy Thayer Manchester and husband Craig of Midlothian, her son, Wade Thayer and wife Kim of Colonial Heights, a brother, Blair Keller, Jr. of Abington, VA.and her beloved black lab. Tee. â??Ju-Juâ?, â??Ge-Geâ? as she was known to her three granddaughters , Berkley and Brooke Manchester, Zoey Thayer, two grandsons, Preston Thayer and Brayden Manchester â?.Ju-Juâ? had a great love for family, gardening, craft shows and Nascar. The family will receive friends Friday, October 23, 2009 from 7-8:30 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. J. Garland Thayer and Rev. Donald C. Thayer, officiating.
