Julia Ann (Julie) Shell Aguilar (born August 24, 1942), of Dinwiddie, VA, passed unexpectedly/suddenly, on February 7, 2023.
Julie was the daughter of the late Roger L. & Ruth Elder Shell, of Dinwiddie, VA.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Art; and her sons, Brian & Ed.
Julie enjoyed a successful career in the newspaper industry attaining Director, GM, and Publisher positions, in L.A., Knoxville, Cincinnati, & San Luis Obispo, CA.
She leaves behind her beloved family of brothers, Butch, Carl, Claude, Mike, & Bruce. Julie also leaves to cherish her memory - best family and Dinwiddie friends, Anne, Jeane, Carolyn, Kathy, Pam, Pat, Theo, Nancy, Stacy, & Terri.
Julie is also survived by a host of nieces, Jennifer, Susan, Brooke, Amy; nephews, Buddy, Carl Jr, and Colt; great-nieces, Ashley, Rebecca, Michaela, and Madison; and great-nephews, Tyler, Ethan, Austin, and Nick. She greatly admired so many more extended family and friends.
A celebration ceremony of Julie's life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Dinwiddie Church of the Nazarene, 24604 Old Vaughan Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841. Online condolences may be conveyed to the family at www.jtmorriss.com .
