Julia Dulgher Horner

Julia Dulgher Horner, 55, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli Dulgher Jr. and Nellie Hutchins; her spouse, Thomas Horner; and her brothers, Mike and Julius Dulgher. Julia loved her grandchildren and was also an avid animal lover. She enjoyed her solitude. She was known for her big heart and cared deeply for others. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Grindle (Brad) and Marlania Horner; 11 grandchildren; one step granddaughter; one step great-grandson; two sisters, Eugenia Dulgher and Patricia Cofflin; one brother, Danny Dulgher; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life will take place at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home – Dinwiddie Chapel, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, on Thursday, July 22 at 2 PM, where the family will receive friends following the service until 4 PM.
