Julian Y. Satterfield, 82, of Deltaville, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian Sr., and Irvine Lunsford Satterfield. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Mays Satterfield; brother, Donald Satterfield and wife, Elaine of Ladysmith, VA; daughter, Donna Jensen; son, Jerry Smith and wife, Diana; son, Wallace Smith; daughter, Deborah Britt and husband, Tony; nephew, Dennis Satterfield and wife, Shawn; niece, Jennifer Satterfield; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be private.
