Julie Marie Padilla

Julie Marie Kuhens Padilla, 48, of S. Prince George, peacefully took the hand of her savior and passed on the morning of Sunday, July 10, 2016 at CJW Neuro ICU and comfort center. Julie is survived by her husband, Edwin Padilla-Gonzales; her parents, Ralph and Marilyn Kuhens; her sister, Becky Ward (JT Hughes Jr.); her niece, Shannon Ward; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins and in-laws. She was a member at The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church of Colonial Heights, where she in recent years rededicated her life to Jesus Christ. She loved the young children especially Remington, Oliver, Wyatt, Jackson, Dallas and Avery. Julie loved watching her hummingbirds, dragonflies, and was an avid WVU Mountaineers football fan. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M., on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church, 505 Lakeview Ave., Colonial Heights, VA 23834. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service until from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Burial will take place Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00 A.M., in Blandford Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the following for their prayers and support; Pastor and Mrs. Varnell, The Sanctuary Family, the nursing staff of CJW Neuro ICU/comfort center, without whom we could not have peacefully accepted Julie’s unexpected passing.
