Juliet Hardy Anderson, 87, of Petersburg, passed away on September 23, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Herbert L. Sr. and Susie Emory Hardy; and was also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Anderson; a son, Terry Anderson; two brothers, James W. Hardy and Herbert Hardy, Jr.; and a son-in-law, Tommy Cottle. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Ivey Memorial Methodist Church in Colonial Heights and had also been a long time resident of the Dunlop Senior Apartments. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Anderson Cottle and Judy Anderson Hartman and husband, Bryan; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Harrison and husband, Shane, Jody Hartman and wife, Dawn, David Hartman, Kristin and Katie Cottle, Elaine Biedler and husband, Andy, and Laura Barker and husband, Michael; ten great-grandchildren, Alec, Kate, Hunter, Tanner, Faith, Tucker, Reagan, Ben, Matthew, Amanda and husband, Drake; one great-great-grandson, Brantley; a brother, William Hardy and wife, Fran; one daughter-in-law, Suzanne Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Moore, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA. The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Heights Health Care Center and Gentiva Hospice for all of their love and care shown towards Mrs. Anderson.
