Julius Murray

Julius L. Murray, age 64, of Chester, VA, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011. He was born in Ritter, S.C. and was a retired SSGT for the U.S. Army, serving two tours of service in Vietnam, Desert Storm and Desert Shield. Mr. Murray was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerl A. Murray. Mr. Murray is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Valerie Murray; daughters, Janell McKee and her husband Gary, and Nicole Murray; granddaughter, Mya McKee; mother, Byrdie Murray; brothers, Damien Murray and Rashon Murray; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 12:00 noon in the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Chester chapel, with interment to follow at a later day in Arlington National Cemetery.
