Justin Jakely Harris

May 2, 1992 — June 16, 2018

Justin Jakely Harris, 26, was taken from our lives too soon on June 16, 2018. He was a loving son of Tammy Frazier Williams and her husband Danny, father Staton Harris, and daddy John Harrison. He was the beloved brother of Ryan, Dillon, Courtney, Cassie, and Lacey. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dick Frazier, and grandparents, Peggy and Jerry Harris. He is survived by his parents, siblings, grandmother Pam Frazier, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Justin’s journey through life included struggles with his demons, but he overcame them and took steps to change his life. Justin graduated from Hopewell High School in 2010 and the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center in 2017. He was employed by Perkinson Construction as a heavy equipment operator. Justin was an avid outdoorsman and was always the life of the party. He loved animals, children and was the favorite uncle of AJ, Gracey, Caiden, Aubrii, and Easton. Justin should not be defined by his mistakes but rather by the too few years of loving life and living it to the fullest.
“Don’t cry because I died, Smile because I lived.” He will always be remembered as the funny, compassionate, “Pootaman” and will be greatly missed. As Justin was an avid fisherman and hunter, we ask you to honor him by wearing camouflage during his Celebration of Life at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to your local SPCA or Humane Society.
