Karl Edward Doersch

Karl Edward Doersch, 68, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred "Millie"; his wife, Genevieve "Jenny"; his daughter, Susan; and by his brother, Mark. He is survived by his sons, David, Thomas "T.J.", and Kyle; daughter-in-law, Brooke; his father, Kirt; his brother, Eric; stepmother, Patricia; and sister-in-law, Michele. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Preston, Conner, Julie, and Thomas "T.J."; his nephew, Anthony "Tony", and Tony's fiancé, Alexis. He was a long time Master Automobile Mechanic and Manager at the Nationwide General Rental Center. He retired from the Hewlett Packard packaging facility in Enon, Virginia. He also was an avid reader. He loved to fish, grill, and watch the Chicago Bears. Rebuilding 1960's mustangs with his friends was a passion of his as well. He was well traveled as a child, living in Hawaii and Australia until his early teens. After attending Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach, he moved to Cocoa Beach for a stint to relax and surf when he was 18. The family will have a private service. There will be a future memorial planned.
